The term "Briccola" identify the oak poles planted on the seabed useful to indicate to the Venetians the navigable route and allow the moorings. The have been simbolising the lagoon landscape for over five hundred years.
The Briccole have an adventurous life as they were born and grow in the European oaks forests and then spent a decade into the lagoon of Venice. Periodically, the Water Authority shall order their replacement because of the corrosion tides. Some marine mollusks called "shipworm" find their natural habitat in this poles. They feed on the wood creating original shapes of orifices and holes that become the peculiarity of this product once worked.

Our goal is to continue the life of this wood in your home in the form of unique panels and floors.
